TENNESSEE STATE MUSEUM

Check out their permanent exhibits like the Tennessee Time Tunnel which is a unique approach to the storyline of Tennessee. Check out the Military Branch located in the historic War Memorial building, which teaches about American conflicts overseas, dating back to the Spanish-American War. Thid new location was opened in October 2018 to showcase an incredible collection of World War I mementoes and other collections from the state and other historical groups. Their shop is located inside a restored historic home and gives you the feeling of family ad soon as you walk in the door. Slinging cupcakes since 2008, you can find local favorites like the Birthday Cupcake with vanilla butter confetti cake, finished with vanilla buttercream icing and confetti sprinkles or the cupcake that’s the talk of the town and award winning, the sweet potato cupcake. They’re also known for their premium flavors, both seasonal and year-round, like the King Cake cupcake, Campfire S’mores, and Café Au Lait cupcake. You may have come across these cupcakes if you’ve ever visited the historical Magazine Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, where their second store is located.
